X-Ray crystallography

X-ray DiffractometerCrystallography is a key component of understanding metal complexes. Single crystal X-ray diffraction is available within the School of Chemistry, where an Oxford Diffraction Xcalibur system is available with low-temperature facilities allowing collection of data from 100 K upward. The EML also has strong links to the National Crystallography Service and to the Diamond synchrotron, where the most challenging crystals can be tackled.
